The Client

The client, China Diamond Group, is an accredited member of the Responsible Jewelry Council based in Hong Kong. It was founded in the year 2000, with masterful entrepreneurship at the helm driven by a great passion to serve this field.

Business Need

The client wanted a Magento-based online store where customers could view and design their jewelry from the necessary components made available by registered vendors. The site would enable the customer to sort, search and customize jewelry items in a user-friendly interface. The client also wanted to update a daily inventory of 15000 SKUs through a .CSV file in less than 30 mins.

Neev Solution

Neev used Magento Community Edition for building this e-commerce store. Neev managed the entire Software Development Life Cycle including server management and documentation. A custom script was written for uploading inventory as opposed to the default module in Magento which led to considerable performance optimization. ‘One Step Checkout Pro’ and ‘Sales Representative Commission Manager’ were the two Magento extensions used in the project.
