Neev Information Technologies, an IT services company focused on the Web, Social and Mobile and Vinznet, an expert in HTML5, Python and Magento development, have decided to come together and form Neev's Pune Development Center. This opens up new expertise for Neev's clients who are primarily based in US, Sweden and India. This will be Neev's third registered office after having opened one in Stockholm, Sweden last year. It will also be its second development center apart from Bangalore.
Commenting on the venture, Vinci Rufus, the founder of Vinznet said: "This alliance will help us tap into newer markets and grow much more aggressively.” Vinci will head the Pune center as Vice President at Neev. Sanjeev Goel, the COO at Neev Tech, rightly pointed out that the move would bring more breadth to existing competencies and service offerings. The alliance brings Neev (an expert in Mobile and Social Media) and Vinznet (an expert in HTML5 Web Development) together.
While Vinznet customers will gain access to the areas of Social Media and Mobile developments, Neev customers will also benefit from the rich features HTML5 has to offer. These include video, audio and canvas elements, as well as the integration of SVG content. HTML5 is also designed to improve the inclusion and handling of multimedia and graphic content on the web, which Neev will be able to utilize to the fullest.
Speaking on the value proposition HTML5 offers, Santosh Shetty, the Co-Founder and Director brought to notice that with the increased penetration of smart phone devices and the need for a consistent user experience, Neev would be able to take a leadership position in this space. Santosh’s words would make the appointment of Vinci Rufus seem the perfect decision, as he is known to be widely respected for his knowledge on this space.
Founded in 2005, Neev has been a part of the prestigious NASSCOM mentorship panel and its CEO, Saurabh Chandra was part of NASSCOM's list of the emerging 30 entrepreneurs. Neev got the venture funded by Basil Partners in 2009.
